AT&T Launches U-verse Services in Springfield, Missouri

April 3, 2010 · 0 comments

AT&T has announced the launch of AT&T U-verse in Springfield, Missouri. AT&T delivers U-verse services over AT&T’s advanced Internet Protocol (IP) network to offer television, broadband, home phone and AT&T wireless services. This is possible due to legislation passed in 2007 that provides an environment that encourages new video providers such as AT&T to offer its services in Missouri.

AT&T has launched the AT&T U-verse services in parts of Fremont Hills, Springfield, Battlefield, Nixa and Republic, including AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet and AT&T U-verse Voice.

AT&T U-verse services bring unique features that provide a new level of integration, convenience and control.

Nancy Garvey, Greater Midwest Region vice president and general manager, AT&T Missouri, said “Cable has been the only game in town for too long, and we’re excited to change that today in Springfield. We know Springfield customers want a better choice to break free from cable, and AT&T U-verse is the answer. And we’ll continue to make U-verse TV even better for customers with regular upgrades and new cool applications that enhance your TV experience.”
