AT&T Reaches Agreement With Viacom To Carry Seven HD channels

AT&T has reached a deal with Viacom to carry seven new high-definition channels. AT&T is now serving 85 HD channels to its U-Verse subscribers. With this carriage deal following HD channels will be launched by AT&T.

BET HD

CMT HD

Comedy Central HD

MTV HD

Nickelodeon HD

Spike HD and

VH1 HD

Dan York, AT&T head of programming said “This strategic deal brings more content to our customers in new and better ways, while supporting Viacom with increased distribution and advertising revenue.”
