Service Electric Cablevision has launched Big Ten Network in standard definition and high definition on Sept.1. Service Electric subscribers will be delivered with all of this season’s Penn State football games offered exclusively on the Big Ten Network.
The Big Ten Network is available on following channels on Service Electric Cablevision:
Birdsboro
Standard definition – channel 32
High definition – channel 522
Sunbury
Standard definition – channel 30
High definition – channel 514
Hazleton
Standard definition – channel 32
High definition – channel 513
Service Electric Cablevision subscribers will be delivered with Penn State basketball and other PSU and Big Ten Conference sports coverage – 350 live events in all, classic games and a wide array of features on Big Ten sports, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Service Electric Cablevision customers will be able to watch highlights of Penn State sports and campus programming on their own schedule, 24/7, through Video on Demand.
Big Ten Network President Mark Silverman said, “Penn State fans are among the most passionate in the Big Ten. With the football team playing in the Rose Bowl last season and current Top 10 ranking, along with the men’s basketball team’s run to the 2009 NIT title, interest will be greater than ever. Penn State Athletics Director Tim Curley said in a statement, “We are thrilled that more Penn Staters in Pennsylvania will have access to the Big Ten Network as the new school year approaches. Penn State fans and alumni are extremely passionate about watching the Nittany Lions, both in person and on television.”
