The leading sports network dedicated to the Big Ten Conference ‘Big Ten Network’ covering one of the premier collegiate conferences in the country with approximately 350 live events has launched five College hockey episodes of The Big Ten’s Greatest Games this season. These episodes will follow live coverage on Fridays, Saturdays in January and February this season.
The Big Ten’s Greatest Games began on January 15 with Minnesota’s 2002 national championship victory against Maine.
On January 29, Big Ten Network will broadcast the 1998 Michigan’s stunning 3-2 title game against Boston College. Live Michigan-Michigan State game from East Lansing will follow this show.
Big Ten Network will present Wisconsin’s 2006 national championship game against Boston College on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 4:30 PM ET followed by live telecast of the Michigan-Wisconsin game from Camp Randall Stadium at 6:00 PM ET.
The Big Ten’s Greatest Games will present the 2007 national title game, Michigan State’s 3-1 victory against Boston College on Friday, Feb. 12 at 5:00 PM ET.
Big Ten Network will broadcast Minnesota’s 2003 national championship game against New Hampshire on Friday, Feb. 19 at 6:00 PM ET. A live Colorado College-Minnesota broadcast will be available at 8 PM ET on the network.
Big Ten Network’s Burish and Hendrickson will serve as analysts for the network’s pre- and post-game shows and Rick Pizzo as studio host.
Big Ten Network is quadrupling its live men’s ice hockey coverage with studio shows, nine game telecasts and more than 20 live streamed games in 2009-10.
