Buffalo Wild Wings has launched the second annual Buffalo Wild Wings Fantasy Football League, an online fantasy league on August 12.
Trey Wingo, host of ESPN’s NFL Live will be commissioner of Buffalo Wild Wings Fantasy Football League.
Wingo will also captain his own team and play against 11 other fantasy football phenoms in this year’s league, presented by the national sports grill and bar known for its award-winning Buffalo, New York-style chicken wings spun in one of 14 signature sauces or four dry seasonings.
Apart from participating in the Buffalo Wild Wings Fantasy Football League, Wingo and the rest of the experts will predict their winning teams for each week’s match-ups for the company’s Pick ‘Em Challenge game. Bringing together expert football resources, combined with the best place to enjoy great food and drinks while watching their favorite teams on HD big screens and TVs, makes Buffalo Wild Wings the place to be for football fans all season long.
Kathy Benning, EVP Global Marketing and Brand Development, of Buffalo Wild Wings said “Football – particularly fantasy football – is a true passion for many of our Guests, who pack into our restaurants to watch the games and use the free Wi-Fi in most of our locations to access their own leagues to make trades and roster changes all week. Featuring Trey Wingo and the other fantasy football experts will give our loyal Guests an exclusive edge over other fans this football season and one more reason to look forward to watching football at Buffalo Wild Wings.”

Wingo said “Working with Buffalo Wild Wings and participating in this League provides another outlet for me to share my passion for football and give insider information to my loyal fans on the website and on Twitter @WildWingo. I’m excited to have the chance to draft my own team this season, and I think the competition will be fun and fierce.”
Buffalo Wild Wings will host an online draft party for the Fantasy Football League, where fans can watch and critique the experts’ every move. Following the draft, the complete rosters and standings will be available all season at ff.buffalowildwings.com. Each week the members of the League will share their tips and strategies with readers, while bantering with their fellow players.
Information provided by the League can be used by fans as they participate in their own fantasy football drafts. Across the country, Buffalo Wild Wings locations are welcoming Guests to host their own fantasy football drafts in-restaurant by providing groups of eight or more with $100 in gift certificates redeemable during future visits and complimentary draft kits. These kits come complete with a draft board, players stickers, koozies, a champion pennant, and more. Because Buffalo Wild Wings is such a popular place to host draft parties, Guests should register now at a location in their area to reserve a spot.
Bringing more to true football fans, Buffalo Wild Wings is introducing the Pick ‘Em Challenge. Each week Guests are invited to visit their local Buffalo Wild Wings to select who they think will win the week’s match ups on the Buzztime Playmaker game system. The Guest with the most correct picks will be eligible to win a spot in this year’s Buffalo Wild Wings Pick ‘Em Challenge flag football event at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The winners will be split into two flag football teams coached by sports personalities Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic and captained by football greats Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders.
Throughout the season, Wingo and the rest of the Fantasy Football League will share breaking news, expert tips on players and teams, and the latest insider scoop with fans. The winner of this year’s League will be selected based on their fantasy football performance and Pick ‘Em Challenge accuracy and will win their own spot to play at the Buffalo Wild Wings Pick ‘Em Challenge flag football event. This lucky pro will provide followers with updates leading up to and following the event, where he or she will run team drills, play in a flag football game, and attend a post-game reception with the captains, coaches, and teammates.
