Cablevision Adds Discovery Communications Planet Green

Cablevision has added Planet Green the first 24-hour eco-lifestyle television network in their programming line-up. Cablevision also announced that free video on demand programming is also available for the subscribers with the iO TV digital cable package.

“Cablevision continues to enhance our award-winning digital cable service through the addition of compelling programming from top cable networks and unique local content our competitors don’t offer,” said John Trierweiler, Cablevision’s senior vice president of product management.

“Planet Green is a welcome addition to iO TV, offering viewers an entertaining and informative look at the environment and the green living movement.”
