Cablevision has signed an agreement with NBC Universal to deliver 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games to its subscribers. This agreement will allow Cablevision to deliver more than 835 hours of multiplatform content of unprecedented Olympics programming.
Cablevision will deliver NBC Universal’s 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games coverage in Standard Definition and High Definition (HD) Networks, VOD, iTV and broadband to deliver NBC’s Olympic coverage. Vancouver will be the first Winter Olympics available entirely in high definition.

Cablevision’s NBC Universal Olympic experience Includes:
HD Coverage: For the first time, coverage of the Olympics will be available entirely in stunning HD, with HD coverage available on the networks of NBC Universal.
On Demand: NBC Universal is making gravity-defying highlights and full event rewinds available On Demand.
• Pre-Games: NBC will offer more than 20 5-7 minute clips.
• In Games: NBCU will offer more than 100 highlight clips, approximately 15 per day, in addition to up to five full-length daily event replays.
Online: Through Optimum’s Online’s popular web portal, Optimum.net, Optimum Online customers have access to real time Olympics news, medal counts, programming schedules, and more. Optimum.net will also link to NBC’s online Olympics content at NBCOlympics.com, which includes their high-definition video player and more than 1,000 hours of video.
