Comcast Adds 13 New High-Definition Channels in Nashville, Tennessee

Comcast has launched 13 new high-definition channels to its programming lineup in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, Aug. 14. Comcast has claimed that it is first HD provider to offer more than 1,000 HD choices. Following are the HD channels added:

BET HD – Channel 198

CMT HD – Ch. 195

Comedy Central HD – Ch. 260

G4 HD – Ch. 257

Lifetime HD – Ch. 217

MLB Network HD – Ch. 199

MTV HD – Ch. 197

Nickelodeon HD – Ch. 228

Spike TV HD – Ch. 218

Style HD – Ch. 259

TV One HD – Ch. 188

VH1 HD – Ch. 196 and

Weather Channel HD – Ch. 185

John Gauder, market vice president of Comcast in Middle Tennessee said, “We’ve heard from customers that they can’t get enough HD, so we’re excited to increase our offering of HD choices to give them even more value. We strive to find quality HD content in the categories that we know our customers want. The addition of these HD channels allows us to continue to be leader in HD choices.”
