Comcast has launched seven high-definition channels in Charleston, SC on November 1. Charleston subscribers are blessed with these new HD channels and the cable operator is lining up many new HD channels before the end of the year. Comcast subscribers in Charleston receive following new HD channels:
AMC HD
Disney Channel HD
FOX News HD
FX HD
Science HD
SPEED HD and
Versus HD
Comcast will start switching some analog channels to digital to deliver these new HD channels. The cable operator is also planning to offer more high-definition channels in Charleston market.
