Comcast Delivers Galavision To Greater Philadelphia And New Jersey Subscribers

Comcast has launched leading Spanish-language channel Galavision on channel 567 on Digital Classic package to its subscribers in Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Comcast Digital Classic subscribers can access Galavision’s content to receive the 2010 FIFA World Cup from South Africa.

Comcast subscribers can watch Univision properties to watch 2010 FIFA World Cup that includes:

  • Univision
  • TeleFutura
  • Galavision
  • Univision.com
  • Univision Movil and
  • Univision On Demand

Amy Smith, senior vice president of Comcast’s Freedom Region, said “Comcast is dedicated to providing our customers with information and entertainment that reflect their diverse interests. We continue to deliver on that commitment with the addition of networks like Galavision and the expansion of our multicultural programming selection for customers.”

Deanna Andaverde, senior vice president, Field Operations, Univision Communications, said “For more than 30 years, Galavision has offered news, sports and entertainment programming that is not available anywhere else on Spanish-language cable. We are pleased to partner with Comcast to connect with the dynamic Hispanic community in New Jersey and the Philadelphia area.”
