Comcast delivers Two HD channels in Jacksonville, Florida

The largest cable television provider Comcast is also going for agressive HD expansion and delivering new HD channels in many markets. Now Comcast has added Two new HD channels in Jacksonville, Florida. Comcast customers in these area receive AMC HD and TLC HD.
Comcast now offers a new facility “AnyRoom On Demand” for the subscribers in these market areas, without any addition equipment. This feature will allow the Comcast subscribers to select ‘On Demand programs’ on a TV and can watch on any TV in other rooms. Lars Lofas, vice president of marketing for Comcast in Oregon and SW Washington said “With Comcast HD service, it’s a matter of choice. We offer more HD viewing choices than any other provider including 75 movies in HD and popular network shows available at any time.”
