Comcast Launches 11 New High-Definition Channels in Connecticut

Comcast has launched eleven new high-definition channels to its subscribers in the Hartford, Connecticut area. Comcast’s new HD channel launch is possible due to conversion of analog channels to digital. Following are the new HD channels added:

  • Planet Green HD – Channel 183
  • Showtime Showcase – Ch.225
  • NECN HD – Ch.237
  • IFC HD – Ch.253
  • MGM HD – Ch.254
  • DisneyXD HD – Ch.255
  • WE HD – Ch.256
  • Fuse HD – Ch.257
  • Lifetime Movie Network HD – Ch.258
  • ESPNews HD – Ch. 259 and
  • Biography HD – Ch.285

Comcast’s digital upgrade has already taken place in 15 Connecticut communities in the Plainville and Vernon areas, and communities across New England and the country are currently undergoing this enhancement as well.

You missed Olathe/MO in new HD for First Round and Orlando to for Comcast.
