Comcast Launches 70 New HD Channels in Metro Denver, Colorado Springs, Loveland and Longmont

Comcast has launched 70 new high-definition channels to its subscribers in Metro Denver, Colorado Springs, Loveland and Longmont. This new HD channel launch is due to Comcast launching its “XFINITY TV” service in Colorado.

Comcast’s XFINITY offers more than 100 HD channels, 50 International programming, 20,000 VOD choices, and even faster Internet speeds.

Comcast’s new HD channel launch includes:

  • Altitude HD
  • BET HD
  • Cartoon HD
  • Comedy Central HD
  • Discovery HD
  • Lifetime HD
  • MSNBC HD

Comcast has launched HD channels in many communities in Colorado, including Parker, Centennial, Lakewood, Golden, Broomfield, Erie, Colorado Springs, Loveland and Longmont. Aurora, Arvada, Westminster, Littleton and Englewood will also be served with new HD channels in coming weeks.

Scott Binder, senior vice president of Comcast Colorado, said “By adding new HD channels and giving our customers Comcast XFINITY TV, Internet and Voice, Comcast continues to invest in Colorado to bring the best in entertainment and communications services to our local customers. Our digital enhancements throughout the state will allow us to provide the top HD entertainment and the most innovative products and services.”
