Comcast Launches Africa Channel, Ovation TV And Si TV in San Francisco Bay Area

Comcast has announced the launch of three new channels to its subscribers in San Francisco Bay Area. The new channels launched are part of “World of More” programming rollout completing analog to digital upgrade. Following are the new network added:

Ovation TV on Channel 270 is dedicated to the arts and contemporary culture featuring programs devoted to performance, people, art, music and film. In addition, Ovation TV features in-depth profiles on various artists and performers, Arts news from the U.S and around world.

Si TV on Channel 477 is an English-language cable network that caters to the bicultural Latino population. Sí TV programming includes lifestyle, reality, comedy, and more.

The Africa Channel on Channel 297 featuring programs from Africa. Africa Channel is intended to give viewers a taste of the best English-language programming from the African continent. Programming includes: News, documentaries, music, series, specials, feature films, music, cultural programs and more

These new channels are launched on the Digital Classic service for both residential homes and businesses subscribers in San Francisco Bay Area.

Comcast’s “The World of More” digital upgrade started in 2009 and being completed in San Francisco Bay Area.
