Comcast Launches ‘MYX’ To Digital Preferred Tier Subscribers in San Francisco Bay Area

Comcast has launched the nation’s only music entertainment and lifestyle channel MYX on Channel 368 to Comcast’s Digital Preferred tier subscribers in the San Francisco Bay Area.

MYX is available to Comcast’s Digital Preferred tier subscribers in Novato, Pleasanton, Santa Clara, San Rafael, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Saratoga, Milpitas, Mountain View and Vacaville.

MYX brings Asian pop culture to Asian-American youth, addressing the cultural reality that many of them want to reconnect to their roots. MYX also champions the independent American and Asian-American music scene by giving these artists a venue to showcase their work.

MYX delivers innovative shows that include:

360VM – Car related news and entertainment

Backspin – Classic music videos

B-Sides – Alternative, indie rock lifestyle show with news on fashion and events

Built From Skratch – Urban hip hop lifestyle show featuring segments about fashion, music, and art

Lexationships – Love, sex and relationship humor

Long Story Short – The MYX Documentaries – Documentary series about Asian-Americans in entertainment

Loveable – Pop music videos, including K-Pop and J-Pop

Music Bang- Asian music videos, particularly from Korea, Japan, and the Philippines

My MYX – Request show

MYX P.I. – Travel show around the Philippines, featuring Filipino music videos with lyrics

Myxed Up – Music videos from different genres, eras, and countries

Myxology – Live performances

Myxture – Current hits

Rockslide – Rock music videos, including Asian and independent
