Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic will be launching a new website ‘CSNbaltimore.com’ on Tuesday, July 20 to cover Baltimore-area sports.

The leading sports columnist John Eisenberg will present Baltimore Ravens’ training camp from M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 7. Apart from covering Ravens, Eisenberg will contribute covering Orioles and also other local teams.

Comcast has already launched Washington, D.C. website CSNwashington.com in 2009. CSNbaltimore.com will deliver breaking news, feature pieces, game coverage and blogs, with stories about high school sports as well as college and professional teams.

Rebecca Schulte, senior vice president and general manager of Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic said “It has been difficult to get our message out to Baltimore without having a core product. It’s a challenge, that’s why there are two distinct sites now.”
