Comcast has announced that the cable operator is planning to launch 14 new high-definition channels in Longmont, Colorado. With these new HD channels, the cable operator will be offering 26 HD channels. Comcast will be finishing this upgrade before end of October. New HD channels to be added are:
HBO HD
ABC Family HD
Cinemax HD
Disney HD
HGTV HD
KRMA HD
KTVD HD
KWGN HD
NFL HD
Science Channel HD
Showtime HD
Starz HD
TBS HD and
TLC HD
Mike Trueblood, vice president for Comcast’s northern Colorado area said “In the areas that we’ve upgraded, we run the same HD lineup that we have in Denver or Boulder or any of the other communities, As we go through the city and we’re within 30 days of being in the neighborhood you’re in, you’ll receive a mailing from Comcast.”
