Comcast has said that it will launch 11 new high-definition and two standard definition channels on October 27 with no addition cost to the subscribers. Comcast will include following HD channels next month:
Biography Channel
Cartoon Network
E! Entertainment Television
Lifetime
Lifetime Movie Network
MLB Network
NBA TV
Nickelodeon
Planet Green
Spike and
Travel Channel
Hallmark Movie Channel and Retirement Living are the new standard definition channels to be added. Comcast subscribers within the City of Pittsburgh won’t get these new changes.
Bob Grove, manager of public relations for Comcast, said: “Nobody is incurring any additional charges because of this. These changes are a response to continued customer demand for more HD channels, faster Internet speeds and more advanced services.”
