Comcast has announced that it will be launching 39 new high-definition channels to its programming lineup in Augusta in September and October. Comcast’s new HD channel roll out is due to upgrade in system in Augusta, Georgia, Comcast is switching its expanded basic channels from analog to digital. Following HD channels will be added in coming months:

Comcast is also planning for expanding its video on demand service and will have more than 10,000 programs and shows, in addition to more than 1,000 HD choices.
