Comcast Digital subscribers will get a ‘free-view’ of NFL Network owned NFL RedZone channel on Sunday, October 4 from 1 PM to 4:15 PM EST. Comcast has launched NFL RedZone on Comcast’s Sports Entertainment Package on Sept.13 and delivers every touchdown from every game, as well as live look-ins and real-time highlights every Sunday from 1:00 p.m. EST through late-afternoon.
On Sunday afternoons throughout the NFL regular season, the channel keeps fans up-to-date in real time, moving from game to game each time a team is poised to score inside the 20-yard line.
Comcast will launch NFL RedZone on its Digital Preferred package and a free-view will be available to Comcast’s Digital Starter customers.
Derek Harrar, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Video Services for Comcast, said: “The verdict is in…sports fans are calling NFL RedZone a ‘must-have. Since the debut was an instant hit, we’re opening up the channel to all our digital customers so they can experience the intense live action only available on NFL RedZone.”

As a football fan I believe Comcast is thinking in the right direction but leaving the job half done. just like most of the tech visits that they schedule. when it comes to Comcast adding “NFL REDZONE” but not in HD when all you see on the NFL NETWORK commercials are marketing campaigns saying you can get this channel in HD. It feels like who ever is making the final decisions for this company is a penny pinching non-sports fan. any person with any part of American in them would just know to offer this channel if offering it at all..”OFFER IT IN NON-HD AND IN HD” OMG THIS IS SOME B.S.
