Cox Adds Eight HD Networks in Northern Virginia Market
Cox Communications is expanding its high-definition programming line-up in many markets and came up recently with five high-definition channels in San Diego, California. Now Cox is moving to Northern Virginia market and dropping eight new high-definition channels starting today. Cox subscribers in Northern Virginia market will receive following channels :
AMC HD – Channel 753
FOX News HD – 756
FX HD – 758
Hallmark Movie Channel HD – 743
Planet Green HD – 749
SPEED HD – 757
Weather Channel HD – 752
WGN HD – 754
Cox is also gifting Northern Virginia subscribers with six new HD channels as New Year gift. More channels are coming in 2009 and those include :
BET HD
Cartoon Network HD
Comedy HD
FOX Business HD
IFC HD and
WE HD
