Cox Communications has entered a deal with Hallmark Movie Channel to carry the high-definition version of the channel. Cox, who carries the standard-definition of the channel, has entered a multi-year deal with Crown Media Holdings, owner and operator of Hallmark Channel to carry the HD version, which was launched during April this year. Crown Media says Hallmark Channel has more than 30 original movies in production or development.

“We are pleased to announce this new agreement with Cox, one of Crown Media’s most important partners in supporting our efforts to provide the very best in quality, family-friendly programming,” Henry Schleiff, president and CEO of Crown Media, said in a statement. “Hallmark Movie Channel offers audiences the greatest family movies of all time, and we are happy to be presenting this wonderful programming in a vivid and compelling new HD format at a time when there is a growing demand for family-friendly programming. Most importantly, we are excited to be able to join with our distribution partners to offer this new opportunity to our viewers.”

I prefer a phone number, but cannot find one. My question is not really important to anyone but me…..how long is the “I Love Lucy” marathon??? I do hope not long. I really enjoy the old
episodes of “Touched by an Angel”, so hope those will return.
I watch the Hallmark a lot because there is too much reality on network….you see, I am 82 years old and enjoy the entertain-
ment of “yesterday”. I will appreciate a reply….Thank you,
Charlotte Hall
