Cox Communications To Launch 27 High-Definition Channels

Cox Communications has announced that it will deliver 27 new high-definition channels to its programming line-up in the Phoenix Valley area in August. Cox will end up with 70 HD channels by the end of summer. The new HD channels to be launched include:

Disney Channel HD

Encore HD

Fox News HD

HBO2 HD

MLB Network HD and

Nickelodeon HD

Ivan Johnson, vice president of communications and televideo for Cox Arizona said “The No. 1 request from our customers is more HD options, so in response we are happy to launch this great lineup of unique channels in high definition.”
