Cox Communications To Launch Eleven New HD Channels in December

Cox Communications has announced that there will be new eleven high-definition channels available for the Gulf Coast region subscribers from December 17. The cable operator has also relocated few channels like ESPN2 HD, ESPN HD, USA HD, Universal HD, Palladia HD, Discovery HD Theatre and National Geographic HD. Following are the new HD channels available from third week of December:

AMC HD

Cinemax HD

CMT HD

Comedy Central HD

Hallmark Movie Channel HD

Nickelodeon HD

Palladia HD

Spike HD

Starz HD

Travel Channel HD and

VH1 HD

Cox also planning to add Comedy Central HD in January 2009. Pensacola will be launched on December 17 in Standard definition.
