Cox Communications has launched BET in high-definition on channel 736 in Hampton Roads programming line-up. Cox carries BET HD in greater Hampton Roads such as Southside, Gloucester, Poquoson, Williamsburg and Newport News.
Cox is now offering 56 high-definition channels in Hampton Roads and its available to subscribers with expanded HD tier, HD service from Cox and an HD receiver or a CableCARD.
Gary McCollum, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cox Hampton Roads said “We are pleased to add BET HD to our growing list of HD channels. Best of all, we do not charge extra for the HD channels so Cox customers can watch them for free.”
Cox is planning to launch more HD channels in Hampton Roads region in May.
