Cox Communications has added five high-definition to its subscribers in the South Hampton Roads in February. Cox will add seven more HD channels to South Hampton Roads subscribers on August 20. Following are the new HD channels to be launched:
The Weather Channel HD – channel 724
Fox Business Network HD – channel 818
NBA TV HD- channel 814
Bio HD – channel 828
Encore HD – channel 810
MLB Net HD -channel 814 and
Pay Per View Events Channel HD – channel 701
Once these HD channels are launched, Cox will be offering 61 HD channels at free of cost. These new HD channels added are as a part of HD expansion undergoing in the areas that include Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach.
