DirecTV Adds Local HD Channels in Odessa-Midland, Texas

DirecTV has announced that it has launched local high-definition programming to its subscribers in Odessa-Midland, Texas. The satcaster is now offering local HD channels in 126 cities, which represent more than 89% of USA TV households. Following are the local HD broadcast channels available to its subscribers in the Odessa-Midland, Texas market area:

KPEJ/FOX and

KPBT/PBS

DirecTV subscribers must have an H20 or H21 HD receiver or an HR20 or HR21 DIRECTV Plus HD DVR and a Ka/Ku band dish to receive the above local HD channels.

The leading satellite provider is offering both standard and HD channels in 152 cities.
