DIRECTV adds local HD programming for customers in Tyler-Longview and Knoxville

Leading Satellite television provider in the US, DIRECTV is now offering Local high-definition programming to customers in Knoxville in Tennessee and Tyler-Longview in Texas area. WATE/ABC, WVLT/CBS, WTNZ/FOX and WBIR/NBC broadcast networks are available in Knoxville and KLTV/ABC and KYTX/CBS networks are available for customers in Tyler-Longview area. The satcaster is also optimistic to include more channels if and when they become available. With these additions DIRECTV offers high-definition broadcast for more than 74.3 percent of U.S. TV households in 72 cities. DIRECTV also have launched about 92 national high-definition channels.
