DirecTV Delivers 2010 Wimbledon Tennis Championship in HD

DirecTV has announced that it delivers 2010 Wimbledon Tennis Championship from All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, Wimbledon on Wimbledon Mix Channel from June 21 to 28.

2010 Wimbledon Tennis is available in crystal-clear high-definition with real-time scores, men and women’s draws and a match guide on channels 701-707.

DirecTV’s Wimbledon coverage features are:

  • Wimbledon Mix Channel: DirecTV’s Wimbledon Mix Channel offers six live tennis matches at a same time on channel 701. This includes DirecTV’s five bonus channels of outer-court coverage in high-definition.
  • Match Guide: Tune to watch real time scores of both competed matches and match in progress. Viewers can select this with pressing RED button on the remote and selecting ‘Recent Results’ to activate.
  • Men’s and Women’s Draws: DirecTV subscribers can find out who advanced and who didn’t by simply pressing the RED button on your remote and selecting Men’s or Women’s Draws. A complete round-by-round chart will show you which players are still in it and which players are headed home.
  • All in high-definition: DirecTV delivers all matches in HD with DIRECTV HD and subscribers get a better view than the umpire to see if the ball is in or out.
