DirecTV Launches ‘DIRECTV Whole-Home DVR’

DirecTV has announced the launch of new DIRECTV Whole-Home DVR service to its subscribers. This new HD DVR service will cost $3 a month, which will allow subscribers to watch a recorded program on any television in the home.

DIRECTV Whole-Home DVR service will eliminate the need of multiple HD DVRs and allows its customers to record and watch programs in up to 15 rooms.

DIRECTV Whole-Home DVR service provides customers with features such as:

  • Access to a single, combined playlist of all of their recorded programs on any connected television in the home;
  • DVR controls in every room, including record, delete, pause and rewind functionality;
  • Manage DVR playlist from any connected room;
  • Set separate parental controls for each TV;
  • Stop a recorded show in one room and continue watching in a different room;
  • Watch recorded shows in HD in any connected room;

The DIRECTV Whole-Home DVR service truly enables customers to watch what they want, where they want and when they want it, by simply using a single HD DVR.”
