DirecTV Launches Local HD Channels in Jackson, Miss.

DirecTV has launched local high-definition channels to its subscribers in Jackson, Miss. DirecTV is offering local HD channels in 134 markets, representing more than 91 percent of United States households.

Following are the local HD channels available to Jackson subscribers:

WAPT/ABC

WDBD/FOX

WJTV/CBS

WLBT/NBC

WMPN/PBS and

WRBJ/CW

DirecTV subscribers must have an H20 or H21 HD receiver or an HR20 or HR21 DIRECTV Plus HD DVR and a Ka/Ku band dish to receive the above local HD channels.
