DirecTV Launches Local HD Programming in Dayton, Ohio

DirecTV has announced that local high-definition channels have been added in the Dayton, Ohio area beginning Oct.23. DirecTV is now offering local HD broadcast in 103 cities. Following are the high-definition broadcast networks available in Dayton, Ohio.

WHIO/CBS

WDTN/NBC

WKEF/ABC and

WRGT/FOX

Other satellite TV operators are delivering national HD channels where as DirecTV is flooding with local HD broadcast and with these local HD, the satcaster represents about 85 percent of U.S TV households. DirecTV also plans to provide local HD in more than 121 cities representing approximately 88 percent of U.S. TV households.
