DirecTV has announced the launch of leading Spanish-language programming channels Univision and TeleFutura in high-definition.
DirecTV is the first provider to offer Univision Communications owned Spanish-Language Networks Univision and TeleFutura in HD.
DirecTV says that this is the beginning of launch of 30 new HD channels. DirecTV HD lineup is presently offering 130 HD channels.
DirecTV subscribers with HD Access and HD equipment who currently receives Univision and TeleFutura channels in standard definition will receive both these channels in HD.
