DirecTV, Outdoor Channel Renew Carriage Agreement

Outdoor Channel, which delivers hunting, fishing, shooting, off-road motorsports, adventure and the Western lifestyle programming has announced that it has renewed the multi-year carriage deal with satellite televsion provider DirecTV.

America’s leader in outdoor TV, Outdoor Channel extended its carriage deal that began in 2002. Reagan Feeney, vice president, program acquisition, DIRECTV said ““We are happy to renew our deal with Outdoor Channel and continue to provide its quality programming to our customers.”

“This renewal is part of our effort to renew all of Outdoor Channel’s affiliation agreements with a new rate card that includes strong incentives for broader carriage,” said Randy Brown, senior vice president of affiliate sales and marketing of Outdoor Channel. “DIRECTV has been a valued partner since 2002,
and we are pleased to continue our partnership to provide the best in hunting, fishing and other outdoor-related programming to viewers across the country.”
