Dish Adds Local HD channels In Virginia

Dish Network has announced during the conference call in January that the satcaster would deliver local high-definition channels in 100 markets and also 100 national high-definition channels by year’s end.

Dish Network has added local high-definition channels in Norfolk – Portsmouth – Newport News, Virginia, officials said on Thursday, May 1. With these additions, Dish Network offers HD locals in 55 markets, reaching more than 64% of U.S. TV households.
