Dish Network has announced its first quarter results on May 11. The leading satellite provider has ended the first quarter with a 2.1% increase in total revenue from $2.84 billion to $2.91 billion. The net income has also improved from $259 million during the corresponding period in 2008 to $313 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2009.
Dish Network has now 13.584 million subscribers loosing approximately 94,000 net subscribers during this quarter.
