Dish Network Launched New Satellite ‘EchoStar XI’ Successfully

Dish Network has successfully launched a new satellite ‘EchoStar XI’ on Wednesday to expand its high-definition programming. Dish Network’s satellite launch(AMC-14) during March failed to reach the orbit was a major set back for the satcaster. Even though DISH Network started delivering new HD channels and recently announced that they will launch 17 new HD channels on August 1 to be the first Satellite TV provider to reach 100 HD channels. Dish Network’s competitor DirecTV already has a satellite DIRECTV 11 in the orbit and expected to deliver new HD channels starting from September. Dish Network also have plans to launch another satellite before the end of the year.
