Dish Network has added CNN HD in their high-definition line-up from 16th April. Dish Network is planning to deliver 100 national high-definition channels before end of the year. With this addition Dish Network now offers 77 national HD channels.
The satcaster’s AMC 14 satellite, which was launched last month failed to reach the orbit and was announced last week as total failure. Dish Network has not commented on this. Dish has a plan to launch two more satellite in this year to deliver more high-definition channels.
CNN is now offered in standard and high-definition programming. The HD version of the channel is launched from the renovated New York studios. CNN HD is available on channel 200.
