DISH Network Launches HD locals in Beaumont – Port Arthur, Texas

DISH Network has announced the launch of local high-definition channels in Beaumont – Port Arthur, Texas. DISH Network last week has launched new satellite ‘EchoStar XI’ to go for HD expansion.

Dish Network will be the first satellite TV provider to reach 100 HD channels on August 1, as they are planning to launch 17 HD channels. With the launch of local HD channels, DISH Network now offers local channels in 66 markets reaching more than 69 percent of U.S. TV households.
