Dish Network Launches Six New HD Channels

Dish Network has announced that it has launched six new high-definition channels. Following are the new HD channels launched:

  • DIY HD
  • EPIX 2 HD
  • Investigation Discovery HD
  • Telefutura HD and
  • Univision HD

Dish Network announced that Galavision HD will be available to its subscribers in June. The satcaster claims that it offers more than 200 HD channels to its subscribers.

Tom Cullen, executive vice president of Sales, Marketing and Programming, said “For the second time in less than a month, DISH Network has expanded the largest HD lineup in the industry. We continue to lead the way in offering the best collection of HD movie channels in the nation, and are proud to be the only provider to offer all three of the most-watched Spanish-language networks in high definition.”
