Dish Network To Launch Seven New HD Channels

Dish Network has announced that it will launch seven new high-definition channels on April 1. Dish will be adding following HD channels to its programming lineup:

BET HD

CMT HD

Comedy Central HD

MTV HD

Nickelodeon HD

Spike HD and

VH1 HD

Dish Network is planning for aggressive HD expansion in 2009 and expected to launch many new HD channels. The satcaster is also launching local HD channels in many markets and has also delivered local HD channels in six markets recently.
