The leading Satellite TV provider in the country DirecTV has started providing local sports and prime-time broadcast network programming, weather and local news to the customers of Dothan, Alaska via Satellite in digital quality starting from Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008. The Network and channels available for the Dothan designated market area customers are: WDHN/ABC, WTVY/CBS, CW, MNT, WDFX/Fox, and PBS.
With this addition DirecTV offers standard-definition local channels in 148 markets, representing approximately 94 percent of U.S. TV households.
