The world’s leading interactive entertainment software company, Electronic Arts Inc., has announced the launch of Madden NFL 09. The American football game series developed by EA Tiburon is available in retail stores across North America from August, 12. The 20th annual installment in the Madden NFL video game franchise introduce more than 85 new features and enhancements was named Best Sports Game of E3 in the official “Game Critics Best of Show Awards.”

Madden NFL 09 will now feature brand-new broadcast presentation package team of Cris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond. The 2009 edition of the game series will test the skills of a seasoned veteran, or a franchise rookie and will adjust to players’ level and keep the game challenging and fun. Madden NFL football has become a cultural phenomenon and has evolved into the must-have sports title every year and has sold more than 70 million units lifetime.

“Madden NFL 09 truly embodies the rich history of Madden NFL football,” said Senior Producer Phil Frazier. “With adaptable gameplay, stunning visuals, and beyond broadcast presentation this game is a fantastic and competitive experience for all types of gamers.”
