The three day Electronic Sports World Cup 2008 an international professional gaming championship held in San Jose, California between August, 25-27 participated by world’s 600 best players concluded with Poland and the United States winning two consecutive titles for the first time in the history of the ESWC.
Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) awarded six world champion titles and $US 200,000 in prize money. Poland won second consecutive year Counter-Strike tournament title and SK-Gaming of the United States held onto their title in the Women’s Counter-Strike tournament.
