ESPN has announced the broadcast schedule of the 12th annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge Presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods to be played Nov. 29-Dec. 1.
The ACC/Big Ten Challenge will feature 11 games broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. ESPN3.com will simulcast the ESPN and ESPN2 telecasts.
The 2010 event will feature top college basketball programs playing for conference supremacy and the Commissioner’s Cup – will be highlighted by Michigan State at Duke Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN3.com. Duke is ranked No. 1 and Michigan State No. 3 in an early preseason top 25 poll by ESPN.com senior college basketball writer Andy Katz.
Additional teams in the ESPN.com poll comprise No. 2 Purdue at No. 22 Virginia Tech, No. 11 North Carolina at No. 15 Illinois and No. 6 Ohio State at Florida State. The Big Ten won the Commissioner’s Cup last year for the first time in 10 years.
