ESPN Deportes has announced that it will broadcast a new documentary on Cuban pitcher Luis Tiant’s emotional return “The Lost Son of Havana” on Sunday, August 9 at 6:00 PM. This documentary will give viewers the story of Cuban pitcher Luis Tiant’s emotional return to Cuba after 46 years of exile and 19 seasons playing professional baseball for the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians.

ESPN Deportes, ESPN and ESPN Classic will re-broadcast the film throughout the month of August and October. ESPN Deportes presented an exclusive screening of the documentary ‘The Lost Son of Havana’ TV debut in Miami on Thursday, July 30.
