ESPN Networks Launches ESPN HD in Brazil

ESPN has announced that it has launched 24/7 all-sports network ESPN HD in Brazil. This is the first all sports high-definition network in Brazil. The sports network delivers sports programming that include:

The UEFA Champions League

The UEFA Cup

The Spanish League

The Italian League and

Major League Soccer (MLS)

ESPN HD Brazil will also offer the National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), SportsCenter and X Games.

ESPN International EVP and managing director Russell Wolff said “The launch of ESPN HD Brazil reinforces our commitment to provide fans the best quality sports programming, we launched our first HD service outside the U.S. last June in Australia and are now are pleased to offer fans in Brazil that same experience.”
