ESPNU has announced that it will debut a new one-hour series ‘ESPNU Road Trip’ on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 9 a.m. ET., from Columbus, Ohio, for No. 4 USC at No. 6 Ohio State.
This show will deliver student perspective from the site of Saturday morning college football show College GameDay Built by The Home Depot. ESPNU will broadcast three times this college football season. The other two shows will originate from the site of College GameDay on Oct. 17 and Nov. 28, respectively.
Jonathan Drubner and Jenn Brown will host the show and will interview the crowd of fans to give viewers an up-close look at the pageantry surrounding the game, including the band performances, cheerleaders and fans making signs that are often highlighted on College GameDay.
Rosalyn Durant, vice president and general manager, ESPNU said, “The show is a great example of ESPNU’s goal to bring fans closer to the on-campus experience and give students a voice to share their perspective. It also allows our viewers to experience what it’s like to be in the exciting atmosphere of College GameDay.”
