Mike Hopkins, President, Affiliate Sales and Marketing, Fox Cable Networks announced that it has reached an agreement with DIRECTV, DISH Network, Time Warner Cable, and Verizon FiOS to launch the new sports channel ‘Fox Soccer Plus‘ on March 1.
Fox Soccer Plus will present matches from tournament that include:
Fox Soccer Plus will also deliver annual selection of live and exclusive England Men’s National Team matches.
The newly launched sports network will also deliver rugby games from the Guinness Premiership, the Heineken Cup, and Magners League.
Hopkins also stated “Fox Soccer Plus is a dynamic new network that will provide our distribution partners with the ability to profitably reach an extremely passionate subscriber base. Soccer and international sports fans will thoroughly enjoy the diverse and compelling lineup of live events.”
