HBO Latin America Renames Cinemax East Channel As ‘MAX’ in The Caribbean

Time Warner owned HBO Latin America Group has announced that Cinemax East Channel has been renamed as MAX. MAX will maintain the Premium channel profile in relation to its content, which distinguishes the HBO/MAX package.

MAX will transmit programming from different parts of the world that have also been awarded in different film festivals and that might have not been seen otherwise. MAX targets men and women between the ages of 18 and 45. Some of the movies that will be featured during June are: La Camara Oscura, Adoration, Cidade de Deus and Better Things.

Alexander Salas, general manager of MAX Networks Latin America, said “Once again, HBO demonstrates its leadership in Premium television, providing subscribers with a daring, fresh and innovative offer. MAX will allow viewers to enjoy independent film productions from all over the world.”
